Waking up and seeing the first rays of light from the sun in Lake Tahoe is one of the most magical and beautiful experiences I’ve ever had. The colors and the glare from the lake is just breath-taking.

When I decided to move to Lake Tahoe, it was after seeing a bear for the first time in one of my first visits. I took that as a sign because at that moment I was looking for a place to live and I wanted a change in direction for my life.

This piece reflects the moments of hope and the excitement of new beginnings. Lake Tahoe provided me with a whole shift of perspective, a whole new world of possibilities, a lot of beautiful friends and community, that I am completely and profoundly grateful for.
